The quartet received its second Composers
Commission Project grant through the American
Composers Forum in 2002 for the work Cuban
Voyage written for by Doug Little.

Ancia has recently presented concerts/ masterclasses at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Luther College (IA), the Society of Composers, Inc. conference at Macalester College (MN), the MacPhail Center for the Arts “Saxophone Day” (Minneapolis), the Wisconsin Music Educators
Association Conference (Madison), the World
Saxophone Congress in Minneapolis, and
numerous community concert series. The quartet has

performed at recent regional, national, and international saxophone conferences in Montreal, Iowa City, Chicago, Winnipeg, and Florida. In 1993, 1995 and 1997 the quartet presented joint concerts with the Berlin Saxophone Quartet, including quartet and octet performances at "Klangfenster '95" in Berlin, Germany.

This upcoming summer, the quartet will be in residence at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN working with student and adult saxophone quartets in the 9th annual Summer Saxophone Workshop.
